Opinions on online-study

The graph below shows the percentage of students who agree or disagree with certain questions about their preferences for online study. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparation where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates students' preferences with regard to online study.

The highest preference (60%) is for access online when it is necessary; only a tiny percentage. about 5%. disagree with this. Half the students prefer to have a tutorial before starting class. whereas around 1596 disagree with the idea. There is also a significant difference between those whose preference is for one-on-one and face-to-face learning around 4596 compared to 1096 respectively.


Results for whether online support is easy to find and easy to use are very similar. Between 30 and 33% agree with these questions while 10% disagree. Approximately 25% of students prefer to work things out when they are stuck whereas 10% do not like to do this. There was only a 10% difference between those who do or do not prefer online support: 20% of respondents agree while 30% disagree.


Overall, most respondents value contact with a teacher either via a tutorial or a face-to-face session. although there is a clear preference for having online access when they need it.
