Richard: For this week's podcastsinenglish.com it's my turn to select three very interesting and different hotels and Jackie to choose which one she'd like to stay in.

Jackie: Okay, Richard, I'm listening.

Richard: So for the first hotel, it used to be an aeroplane.

Jackie: All right, I don't like aeroplanes [both laugh].

Richard: That's true, but this one will never take off again. It's in Costa Rica.

Jackie: Oh, right okay, very exotic.

Richard: Next to a wonderful tropical beach.

Jackie: That sounds good.

Richard: There's only one room or a suite if you like, with um.. bedroom and bathroom, etc. 250 dollars a night.

Jackie: Okay

Richard: Now the second one is in a mine, an underground mine. This one is a silver mine in Sweden.

Jackie: So it used to be a mine.

Richard: [It] used to be a mine, yes.

Jackie: How far underground is it?

Richard: Well, that's an interesting question um... it's a hundred and fifty-five metres underground.

Jackie: Richard, no [both laugh] I don't like planes but I certainly don't like being underground.

Richard: It may be cold but it's very beautiful.

Jackie: How can it be beautiful?

Richard: Because there's... I think there's still silver in the walls.

Jackie: Right. How much does that cost, Richard?

Richard: It's about 100 euros a night.

Jackie: Mmm. [Richard laughs] Not very keen with either of those hotels, Richard. Number 3?

Richard: Number 2 might have been a mine underground, number 3 is overground. It's a treehouse [laughs].

Jackie: Right

Richard: It's in the Nature Zone Jungle Park in India.

Jackie: Okay, so it's a treehouse in India, right.

Richard: In a national park, so it's very beautiful, in a living tree.

Jackie: And there's... there's one room in a tree?

Richard: No. It's actually quite large. There's a living room, bathroom and balcony.

Jackie: All in one tree?

Richard: All in one enormous tree.

Jackie: Right, okay. And how much does that cost?

Richard: That's 160 dollars a night.

Jackie: 160...

Richard: ...for er... for two people.

Jackie: Right, okay. Can... can the animals get into the... into the house?

Richard: No. You have to climb up a ladder to get into the tree. But there may be monkeys flying through the trees, perhaps. A real nature experience.

Jackie: Mmm

Richard: So, the aeroplane, the mine or the treehouse?

Jackie: The mine is definitely out Richard.  Um..  I like the idea of the aeroplane because of being by the sea but...

Richard: But you don't like aeroplanes.

Jackie: ...but I don't really like aeroplanes and as I'm a great animal lover, and the treehouse doesn't sound maybe too high, I'm going for that.

Richard: Fantastic. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
