1.   Do you ever use maps?

Yes, I do. As I have a bad sense of direction, so I find map really useful. I use it when I need to go to unfamiliar cities so that I would never get lost. To me, it is an indispensable tool that I can’t not live without.

2. When do people usually need to use a map?

Obviously when people go to somewhere they are not familiar with, map is a vital tool to help them avoid getting lost.

3. Who taught you how to use a map?

The first map I got came from my father and he was also the person who taught me to use it. I remembered vividly the time when I came to this crowded city, my father gave it to me and showed me the direction to go home from school.

4. Do you prefer electronic or paper maps?

I generally prefer to use the electronic one because it has more advantages. Firstly I can search the place I don’t know in a minute because it comes in handy. Besides, the electronic map can tell me the current traffic flow so that I can steer clear of the terrible traffic congestion

5. Do you ever ask people for directions instead of using a map?

Even map is essential and it is the good choice when I get lost, asking around is the preferable way for me. I always ask the local people for direction despite the fact that it would takes more time, because I think it is more reliable than only trusting on a paper or automatic software.
