The UK gives employees fewer public holidays (8) than the other three countries. Italy offers 9. The number of days annual leave is more than double the number for the USA and Japan with the UK giving 27 and Italy giving the most at 37. 777/5 results in total days off being 35 and 40 for the UK and Italy respectively.
