1.   What factors do you think affect the clothes we choose to wear?

Well it depends on occasion. The questions where we are or where we’re going are big factors. If you are going out to a club you’re going to dress for the occasion with short pants or skirts or dress for example. By contrast, both men and women tend to choose formal clothes or uniforms to wear when they are at office.  And then there are those who think it’s important to look like they’re on trend so they’ll want to choose the latest fashions every time they are out. For these reasons, I believe that wearing style depends on the situation.

Nếu bạn đi đến một câu lạc bộ, bạn sẽ mặc sao cho phù hợp với hoàn cảnh là một chiếc quần hay váy chẳng hạn. Ngược lại , đàn ông và phụ nữ thường có xu hướng ăn mặc trang trọng khi ở văn phòng. Và cũng có những người nghĩ rằng việc theo xu hướng là rất quan trọng, vậy nên họ muốn chọn thời trang mới nhất mỗi lần họ ra ngoài. Do lý do này, tôi tin rằng mặc có phong cách hay không còn tùy thuộc vào từng tình huống

2.   Is it possible to look good without spending lots of money on clothes?

Yes, I’m sure it is. I suppose it’s about having an eye for what looks good no matter how much the clothes cost. The important things are knowing how to mix and match different items of clothing that go well together and choosing something that suits you.  I think you can pick up great bargains in some shops sometimes and even hand-me-downs can look good too.

Có, tôi đảm bảo điều đó. Tôi cho rằng nó là vấn đề có mắt thẩm mỹ hay không, cho dù là bộ quần áo đó đáng giá bao nhiêu. Điều quan trọng là biết cách phối đồ để những đồ đó ăn hợp với nhau và lựa chọn được món đồ phù hợp với bạn. Tôi nghĩ bạn có thể mặc cả ở một vài shop và đôi khi những món đồ cũ trông cũng rất đẹp. 

3.   Do the fashion shows have impact on what we are wearing?

I don’t think we are impacted by clothes on fashion shows. I suppose the big fashion houses and fashion shows must have an effect but the clothes you see on the catwalk don’t always reflect what normally people wear. Most of them have an exotic style that we cannot use in real life. So I believe things like what singers are wearing in videos or models are wearing in magazines have most effects on us.

Tôi không nghĩ chúng ta bị ảnh hưởng bởi quần áo ở những show diễn thời trang. Tôi cho rằng những hãng thời trang và những show thời trang phải có một ảnh hưởng nào đó, nhưng những bộ đồ bạn nhìn thấy trên dàn catwalk không phải lúc nào cũng phản ảnh con người ta mặc gì. Một vài trong số chúng mang phong cách kỳ quặc mà chúng ta không mặc trong cuộc sống thường ngày. Vì vậy tôi tin rằng những món đồ mà các ca sĩ mặc trong các video âm nhạc của họ hay những món đồ mà các người mẫu mặc trên các cuốn tạp chí có ảnh hưởng tới chúng ta nhiều nhất

4.   Do you think have fashion trends changed constantly?

Well, I can say that everything can change one day, so how can a fashion style stay forever? Fashion trends are the imaginations of fashion designers and they need changing to meet customers’ requirements. However, the fashion cycle is a cycle in which trends come back over and over again. If you analyze them, you’ll see that every 10 to 15 years, some old fashion items can be mixed and matched with other outfits to become new fashion trends. Several styles are timeless.

Tôi cho rằng mọi thứ có thể thay đổi một ngày nào đó, vì vậy làm sao một phong cách thời trang có thể giữ nguyên vẹn mãi được. Xu hướng thời trang là trí tưởng tượng của nhà thiết kế và chúng cần được thay đổi để đáp ứng được yêu cầu của khách hàng. Tuy nhiên, vòng xoay thời trang là một vòng tuần hoàn mà các xu hướng luôn có thể đi và rồi quay trở lại. Nếu bạn phân thích chúng, bạn sẽ thấy rằng cứ sau mỗi 10 hay 15 năm, một vài vật dụng thời trang có thể được phối hợp với các bộ đồ khác để trở thành một xu hướng mới. Một vài phong cách không bao giờ bị lỗi mốt.

5.   Do you think people behave differently in different kinds of clothes?

Yes, I think people have different behaviours when they wear different clothes. For example, one who wears formal clothes may portray an image of being professional and confident. Wearing casual clothes, on  the  other  hand,  makes  us  look  comfortable and  relaxed. Especially, women tend to be more confident when they wear high – heeled shoes rather than sandals.

Có, tôi nghĩ rằng mọi người có những hành vi khác nhau khi họ mặc quần áo khác nhau. Ví dụ, một người mặc đồ trang trọng có thể thể hiện hình ảnh của một người chuyên nghiệp hay tự tin. Mặc bộ đồ hàng ngày, khiến chúng ta trông thoải mái và thư thái hơn. Đặc biệt, phụ nữ có xu hướng tự tin hơn khi mọ đi giày cao gót thay vì đi dép. 

6.   Are people’s ideas about fashion today the same as people’s ideas in previous years?

Personally, I am sure that the conception about fashion has changed through years. For example, women in the past had tendency to wear blouse and short pants or vintage dress combined with a lot of outfits while men wore jean flares as the fashion icons. Nowadays, people tend to keep update with the latest trend of fashion with simpler clothing. However, items couldn’t be changed through years are the high – heeled shoes for women.

 I would like to talk about my engagement day when I needed to get dressed up. On that special day, I wore one of the the most  Trang phục  truyền  thông  có  tính  tượng trưng of women in the Đất nước hình chữ S, the Ao dai, which is a fitted, full-length dress worn over a loose trouser.  

In my country, every woman wears Ao dai for some special occasions such as Tet holiday, engagement day or even wedding party. I know that the Ao dai tượng trưng cho vẻ đẹp của người phụ nữ in the countryside because wearing it nhấn mạnh và tôn lên ngoại hình và đường cong. It is also a traditional value that needs to be bảo vệ because it brings Vietnamese dress to the world. One more reason why I decided to wear this Ao dai on my engagement day because it is our Trang phục truyền thống and incredibly beautiful and charming. I think the Ao dai is a suitable dress for me who always Chú ý tới ngoại hình in such important occasion.

For the opinions of other people, I know that I Nhìn rất xinh đẹp trong this Ao dai because all guests give me a nice and surprising look. I also took many photos with friends and posted them on facebook, and I received many compliments about both this piece of clothes and me. That makes me so happy. 

To me, the Ao dai becomes a cần phải có clothing in the closet and people should wear it in some occasions like ceremonies or Tet holiday. It is such a quần áo vượt thời gian then and now.
