I’m a little older than my age. Therefore, when I was young, Abba is the Swedish pop group which is very famous for wonderful songs they wrote. One piece of music in particular is called “Dancing Queen” that I love most because of its haunting melody and dancing. The song contains many hidden meanings about the people who wanted to become dancers, which was unoun phraseopular at that time. “Dancing Queen” was released as a single and soon reached top in many countries. I heard this song 20 years ago and immediately fell for it. It’s the kind of music you can also sing along easily even if you don’t have a great voice or are tone deaf as me. I started to listen to Abba’s song 20 years ago and until whenever I feel like a sing-song now.
To me, it is really a special song. Initially, it has a catchy tune, impressive melody and also easy to sing along. It is in my heart, mind and blood because its rhyme and background music which prove that Abba is a musical talent band. Furthermore, it is a song which inspires the youth and cheers me up whenever I am depressed. It seems to speak to me to overcome difficulties in my life.
All in all, Dancing Queen is the most beautiful song that I’ve ever listened to.
1. Why do you think that some local singers or musicians aren’t as successful as some
from other countries?
There are several reasons to explain why the domestic music artists can’t be successful as the foreign ones. Firstly, maybe their talent is not exceptional enough to meet their audiences’ needs. Secondly, the domestic followers prefer the foreigners to the local singers.

Personally, language is a barrier for listeners when they listen to a song. Because of the cultural gap, the meaning of every single word in the song will be translated differently, therefore, sometimes the audiences won’t understand the meaning of the song that needs conveying.

The internet plays a vital role in making music widespread in the worldwide. People can download music off from Internet easier and quicker. There is no more gap in music among people in the world.

Well, personally, CDs seem to be disappeared because of existence of Internet. Today only with a “click”, people can keep up with the latest massive hits of music or listen to their favorite songs with charging for nothing.

Definitely, thanks to the internet, more and more young people are sharing the same taste in music across the world. Therefore, the teenagers in my country can have a chance to share with others their kinds of music and vice versa.
