1. Do you like to write a letter or email?
I prefer writing letters to emails to my friends and my relatives on special occasions such as birthday, the friendship, mother or father days. I really want to express I love them so much. They are so precious to me and I’m so thankful to have them in my life.
2. Do you think emails are useful?
Well, emails play an essential role in my life since they allow me to pass on the information with my colleguages or my families more quickly. Moreover, they help me to store the materials. For example, I usually utilize my email account to access to Google Drive, where I store a huge number of English materials and books.
3. What sorts of letters (or emails) do you think are the most difficult to write?
I think it’ s probably formal emails, like the ones you send to recruiters, lecturers, your managers and so on, are very difficult to write. You have to choose the right tone so that they do not appear too casual or too serious, and you have to check the mistakes in the letters again and again, which is so painstaking.
4. How often do you use emails?
I use emails on the regular basis in my work and study. I spend most of the time getting access to emails to correct students’ homework and send them back. I also get noficiations from some favorite youtube channels to watch newly published videos in my little leisure time.
5. Do you think email might one day replace handwritten letters?
Well, despite the convenience of emails, letters written by hands is irreplaceable in the future. I think it looks different when my friends or my family relatives look at letters I gave them. The reason is that they carry special meanings and show my sincere sentiments that emails can’t do. So, handwritten letters will not be replaced in the future, at least to me.
