Let me start by saying that I always try to be polite to others in all circumstances. My parents have always taught me polite behaviour is a fundamental moral obligation and it is a basic manner that most successful enterpreneurs have.

Recently it was a couple of weeks ago, I went to the city to meet my friends to chill out. We haven’t seen each other more than 4 months so we thought it's time to catch up. Although we are all from different countries, we all love Korean food and one of my friends made a booking in Korean restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant, the place was full of people and we were on the waiting list. After 10 minutes, a couple turned up and put their name after us, but they were called first and ordered food even though they didn't make a reservation. We were all upset because we were extremely starving by that time.

Personally, I hate to shout or increase my volume when making a complaint. I believe it is not generous and sometimes that stupid attitude can humiliate others if they make a mistake. So, I approached to the waiter and explained what happened. He immediately apologized for his mistake and prepared a table at the drop of a hat. It was not a big deal but often, I saw uneducated customers tend to overuse their power.

Politeness is showing behaviour that is respectful and considerable of other people regardless of their social status. Therefore, I always try to behave politely and this situation is not an exception.
