Speaking IELTS part 2 & 3

I’m  would  like  to  tell  about  a  time  that  I  had  to  change  my  plan,  which  still  left  a  lasting memory on me.

Last month, I was going to have a picnic with my friends at a camping site on the outskirts of the city. In fact, we planned to have a picnic to refresh ourselves and to relax after the nerve-racking exams. Everything needed such as food, drinks and even a change of clothes was well prepared. I felt I was on the cloud nine about this trip that I couldn’t sleep, and ended up chatting withmy friends all night. 

However, on the next day, unfortunately, due to bad weather, we had to cancel our plan. It was raining cat and dog, there were clouds in the sky and I felt really down to the dump. As a result, we made a decision to put off our plans. Instead, we threw a party at my friend’s house. We made some favorite dishes together, and then played cards. We all enjoyed this party a lot, which helped us to chill out and get ready for the new semester.

All in all, I can learn a lesson that we can adapt the changes easily and make fun together despite some difficulties. This memory is still fresh in my mind now.

1.   Why do old people not accept change?

I think some old people are afraid of changes. They find it difficult to understand and learn new ways of doing things. This can make them feel scared. They don’t want to expose their age or their weakness so they try to resist the change.

Tôi nghĩ một vài người già rất sợ thay đổi. Họ thấy nó rất khó khăn để hiểu và học những cách làm mới, và những điều này khiến học thấy sợ. Họ không muốn bộc lộ tuổi tác và điểm yếu của họ, vì vậy họ luôn cố gắng chối bỏ những thay đổi. 

2.   Why do some people keep changing their jobs?

Honestly I think there are many reasons to explain why some people cannot adapt their current job. Firstly, they want to satisfy themselves in terms of salary because most of them want to earn a great deal. Secondly, they would like to meet their own job satisfaction at workplace, which gives them motivation to work.

Thành thực mà nói, tôi nghĩ có rất nhiều lý do lý giải tại sao một vài người không thể thích nghi với công việc hiện tại của họ. Đầu tiên, họ muốn thỏa mãn bản thân về mặt lương bởi đa số họ muốn kiếm được nhiều tiền. Thứ hai, họ muốn có được sự thỏa mãn trong công việc, điều này sẽ cho họ rất nhiều động lực để làm việc. 

3.   What changes have occurred in your country in the last few decades?

Our country witnessed some changes taking place over the past few decades. Initially, the number of universities is increasing, which gave better education and job opportunities for the young generation. Moreover, more and more multi-national companies invested in our country, which helped the economy be on going increase.
