Actually I could describe myself as a bookworm and I spend most of my free time reading books about linguistics, which is my major. To make a description about an interesting book that I read recently, it definitely is The official guide to IELTS published by Cambridge publisher.
I decided to take the IELTS test for my studying purpose and struggled with finding a real page turner that can help IELTS learners gain a deep understanding about this exam as well as have a good source to practice with actual tests. As the recommendation of my close friend who is a high IELTS scorer, I bought this book at a bookstore near my university.
The target readers of this book are learners at intermediate level. It includes two main parts, with the first part including all basic information, sharing, tips and short exercices to combat different question types in all four skills. I was quite impressed by some videos illustrating the IELTS Speaking procedure this book has. The second part is a combination of eight full tests for students to practice before sitting a real exam.
I read it from cover to cover and realized it one of the most reliable and useful books I have ever read in my life. I couldn't put it down since I could not only increase my confidence but also widen my knowledge. I see my time management skills improve much and hope that I can pass this exam with flying colors J
All in all, if someone asks me a book to prepare for this test, I think The official guide to IELTS will be my first choice.

Tôi có thể nói rằng tôi vốn là một con mọt sách và dành phần lớn thời gian rảnh rỗi của mình đọc những sách về ngôn ngữ học – chuyên ngành của tôi. Để mô tả về một cuốn sách mà tôi đọc gần đây, sự lựa chọn hàng đầu là nói về cuốn sách mang tên “The official guide to IELTS” được sản xuất bởi nhà sản xuất Cambridge.
Tôi đã quyết định thi IELTS vì mục đích học tập và rất khó khăn trong việc tìm một cuốn sách thú vị mà có thể giúp người học IELTS có kiến thức sâu rộng về bài thi này và có một nguồn luyện tập sát với đề thi thật. Bạn thân của tôi là một người đã đạt điểm cao trong bài thi IELTS và đã giới thiệu tôi cuốn sách này. Tôi mua nó ngay ở một cửa hàng sách gần trường đại học.
Cuốn sách nhắm đến độc giả là những người đang ở mức độ trung cấp. Nó bao gồm hai phần chính, phần một là những thông tin cơ bản, chia sẻ, chiến thuật làm bài và những bài thực hành ngắn để giúp người học xử lý các dạng câu hỏi khác nhau trong cả 4 kỹ năng. Tôi khá ấn tượng với một số videos minh hoạ quá trình của bài thi IELTS Speaking test trong cuốn sách này. Phần số hai thì có 8 bài test hoàn chỉnh để tôi thực hành trước khi bước vào kỳ thi thật.
Tôi đã đọc cuốn sách này ngấu nghiến từ đầu đến cuối và nhận ra nó là một trong những cuốn sách đáng tin cậy và hữu ích nhất mà tôi đã từng đọc. Tôi không thể nào bỏ cuốn sách xuống vì nó không chỉ giúp tôi tăng sự tự tin trước bài thi này mà còn mở rộng kiến thức của mình. Tôi cũng thấy kỹ năng quản lý thời gian của mình đã cải thiện đáng kể và rất hy vọng tôi có thể vượt qua bài thi này với điểm số cao.
Tóm lại rằng nếu ai hỏi tôi về một cuốn sách để chuẩn bị cho kỳ thi này, tôi chắc chắn sẽ nói
